The Plan

The Homestead Schoolhouse will partner with parents and the local church to provide an atmosphere where every student is:

• striving to love God with all their heart
• learning to base all their decisions on the Word of God
• achieving academic success taught from a Biblical perspective
• valuing the importance of a strong work ethic and internal motivation
• understanding how to use hands-on skills in real life situations
• gaining musical ability for the purpose of worship and church leadership
• developing God-honoring personal relationships that will prepare the student for leadership to impact their communities for Christ

Our plan is to open as a K-8th school. Each year we will add a grade, until we are a full K-12th school five years after opening.

Our opening date is yet to be determined. We hope to open in the fall of 2024, but it may be in the fall of 2025. We will keep you updated on the progress. 

The school building will be a 30×50 with a walkout basement. It will be designed to look like an old one-room schoolhouse. 

We plan to utilize the Accelerated Christian Education curriculum.  We believe this will offer a solid, Bible-based education, while allowing time for small groups to work with an outdoor teacher on life-skills training.

We expect to have a maximum capacity of 30 students.
