Welcome!
The Homestead Schoolhouse is a brand-new, old-fashioned one-room school in beautiful Taneyville, Missouri. Our goal is to create a learning environment to encourage internal motivation and a strong work ethic to equip our students to transition into successful, hardworking adults. With God’s help, we opened as a K-8 Christian school in the fall of 2024. We plan to add a grade each year until we are a K-12 school by 2028.

Our Vision
The Homestead Schoolhouse will partner with parents and the local church to provide a Christian school atmosphere where every student is:
- striving to love God with all their heart
- learning to base all their decisions on the Word of God
- achieving academic success taught from a Biblical perspective
- valuing the importance of a strong work ethic and internal motivation
- understanding how to use hands-on skills in real-life situations
- gaining musical skills for the purpose of worship and church leadership
- developing God-honoring personal relationships that will prepare the student for leadership to impact their communities for Christ
