The Homestead Schoolhouse was founded in 2024 as a modern one-room school in beautiful Taneyville, Missouri, where every student is known and valued. Small by design, we cherish the close-knit, faith-based learning environment that has been created for our students. What began as a dream is becoming a vibrant place of learning, purpose, and faith.

Our Vision
The Homestead Schoolhouse will partner with parents and the local church to provide a Christian school atmosphere where every student is:
- striving to love God with all their heart
- learning to base all their decisions on the Word of God
- achieving academic success taught from a Biblical perspective
- valuing the importance of a strong work ethic and internal motivation
- understanding how to use hands-on skills in real-life situations
- gaining musical skills for the purpose of worship and church leadership
- developing God-honoring personal relationships that will prepare the student for leadership to impact their communities for Christ
