The School Bell

If only this bell could talk, the stories she could tell! We are so excited to have been given such a special piece of history that we pray will ring ‘till Jesus comes! Thank you to Darrell and Pallie Ezell, and Lyle and Karla Cook for this donation!

This picture was taken in 1968, the first year Covenant Foundation College in Knightstown, Indiana, opened for students. You can’t see the bell clearly, but it was in this bell tower until the college expanded. Kimberly’s granddaddy (Gordon Easley) helped in the construction of the campus. So when the original building expanded into a college campus, Granddaddy Easley was able to take the bell to his homeplace in Mulberry, Arkansas. This is the Bible college that many of Kimberly’s family attended. We pray this heritage will be passed on for many generations to come!
